Had a great time last year, our group is headed back again this year. Doug worked his tail off to put us on fish & he did just that. If he wasn't scared of northern pike & weighed the big fish he'd be perfect, but he's dang close!

Loved the riverfront cabin and incredible view. Doug was great to visit with and very helpful in getting us on fish. Top notch fish cleaning facilities as well. We will definitely be back!

My husband's family has been coming here for years, and I was invited along this year. I was not disappointed! The fishing was a blast, and Doug and Kim were great hosts! The cabins are nice, and Doug keeps his boats really nice. He will put you on top of fish, and he is very willing to help you if you need it! I highly recommend making a trip up to Ship's Wheel!

One of the most peaceful places I’ve ever stayed. Right on the water. We got to enjoy the wildlife and the peace. Staff is so kind and helpful. I forgot to grab another roll of tp and they texted me saying “I stuck it in the door for ya” we don’t have a boat. We were Just up there visiting gma, but boat access is right there if needed. luckily for us we were even able to extend our stay for another day. Would recommend and will reserve another stay here again! Thank you so much!

We just got back from the best fishing trip ever! Doug and Kim were awesome, supper easy to work with, very accommodating, really made us feel welcome. The cabin was very nice, super clean and stocked with everything we needed. Doug took us out on his charter, he knows where to find Walleyes and how to get them to bite. My new favorite spot and I can't wait to get back.

We love staying at Ship’s Wheel resort, stayed there two times. Once in the captains quarters and once in the water front cabins. The captains quarters cabins are a little bigger and sleep around 7-8 and the other waterfront cabins are a little older than the captains quarters, but very nice, clean and comfortable and sleep at least 4. There’s cable TV, fish cleaning shack and plenty of parking. Doug and Kim are excellent hosts, we’ll be coming back for years to come, they are very accommodating!

This place is great. I've been coming here for years and they have been the greatest hosts I've ever experienced. They aren't a huge place, which is what you want if you're like me. Nice cabins, great fish houses. And very friendly people.
